As I'm in Greece on holiday I drank too much Ouzo the other night and had a Rick party for 1 late into the night in my bed... kept the other party poopers awake and daughter recorded me under the door. Rossi still makes subtle twists to make it sound like Alan was at fault. Rossi is The Anti-Quo, he destroyed Alan's Band. Rossi destroyed our Band. I read a comment recently on You Tube where a 'long time' QUO fan said "What the F#ck happened?" in reference to the demise of The Frantic Four. Millions of QUO fans can concur with that sentiment. One minute QUO are the best and greatest Rock Band in history and in the blink of an eye Rossi made sure that they weren't. Coghlan left, then Lancaster left the Band. Lancaster lost the court case to stop Rossi/Parfitt using the Status Quo name. If we thought that the 1982 & Back to Back albums were signs of the QUO deteriorating, then that is nothing compared to the horror albums that were to follow in the 80's.

This great man was a friend of my family, I was only little, didn't know anything about his status I was young, but always a lovely man. Proper muscician, proper rocker.

I listened to chubbs growing up a lad at school would play his tapes of chubby at break time and everyone would gather round in absolute hysterics, he was the best comedian of the time he would say what other people where thinking but scared to say .i imagine hes not very pc nowadays but comedy is about making people laugh and be happy - chubby achieves this easily .

First band I really became a fan of, 1978, I was 15, bought 5 Minutes, then Rattus and Heroes lps for Birthday/Christmas. Then later Black and White. Great memories.

I went to see Chubby Brown tonight in Oldham. Sadly, it was not a good experience. It was supposed to start at 7:30 but he didn't come out on stage until 8:25 and was gone at 10pm. He was mildly amusing at times and at other times, he came across as a sad old man talking about how hard done by he was by the press giving him bad reviews and how much money he likes to donate to children's cancer charities although he states he never publicise it. The most shocking part of the night was when he brought out two golly wogs and sand a song about blacks, asylum seekers who had a dingy in their front garden. One mixed raced woman in the audience started shouting at him and Chubby Brown was racist in his response to her. It got very nasty and the woman was eventually bundled out by bouncers. I would not go to see him again, the clips on you tube are curated because they are funny. However, i did not find him funny at all on stage. Even the red necks who were say in front of me were complaing and there was lots of knuckle draggers in the audience.

Scott seems like a very cool dude with some stories to tell...you can tell hes good at the storytelling..👍😃
